Rev 14 v 11 KJV
And the smoke of their torment ascendeth(rise) up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image , and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.
Friends as I read the book of Revelation and concentrated on the contents, I am discovering some truths that are locked into the scriptures from Genesis through to our current days and beyond to the end of time.
In my opinion even though John was shown the state of the churches first, also God revealed the place of his residence with the constant worship and adoration for him. The casting down of the devil on earth. The lamb that was slain to cleanse us from our sin. The beasts praising and worshiping around him constantly. A quiet time in his domain which I take it to be the time when he was on earth performing that act of love for us, in order to save us from the torment that ascendeth up for ever and ever. HELL
I find it interesting that God has beasts in Heaven praising and worshipping him and also beasts on earth working against him and his Children.
I note also in heaven the cleanliness of the environment. NO spark of dirt anywhere, everything is crystal clear, white, bright, as a whole very beautiful more than anyone can imagine and the order and peace that control the atmosphere.
In that scenario the Holiness and purity of our creator is manfested and if that is his standard; is there any wonder that his children has to be of that same calibre? If we are not; then how can we be his Children and how can he be our Father.
My friends, Our Father God could destroy everything within seconds but if he does, Human will be in that torment for ever and ever and his love for human will not allow it, hence his pleading with us.
Himself coming amongst us and shedding his blood for us to be cleansed from the contamination we are going through makes sense.
Once more, men minds are contaminated with lies, envy, greed, power, murder, idolatry (money, politics, religions, stars and all the stuff men look to for help) sexual immorality and so on.
Having a picture of heaven and looking at this stuff; can you see how it is impossible to get to heaven without a very pure and clean spirit?
Just as in God’s residence there are beasts to worship him; on earth there are beasts that are anti-him.
Because human are created almost like him to have a relationship with him like Father and children, the anti – him beasts want to cut off that relationship.
When that relationship is cut off then God the Father has no choice but to leave man alone because he is too pure to associate with filth.
This is the reason for Jesus’ blood to purify man’s mind. When a person recognise his/her mind filthy state in front of the Holy God and recognise the love God has for him/her. He/her could do nothing less than to go down on his/her knees to repent and from that moment do everything in his/her power to please God the Father, rather than to please man his counterpart.
In other words the Fear of God will dominate his/her life. An understanding of his love for human will be revealed and a gratitude for being saved will flow from the inside of his/her being, resulting in continuous praise regardless of the situation he/her is in.
In my opinion this is what Jesus meant when he said “ye must be born again”.
