The Beasts in Heaven.
Revelation 4 v 2 – 8 KJV
And immediately I was in the spirit and behold a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne. And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto emerald. And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting clothed in white raiment: and they had on their heads crowns of gold. And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven spirits of God. And before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal: and in the midst of the throne and round about the throne, were four beast full of eyes before and behind. And the first beast was like a lion, and the second beast like a calf, and the third beast had a face as a man and the fourth beast was like a flying eagle. And the four beast had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy Lord God Almighty, which was, and is and is to come.
As for me Revelation chapter four is the picture of heaven and its connection to earth. God revealed to John his Glory, power, honour, authority, and his creation. This reminds me of The Lord’s prayer, “Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven”.
It also reminds me that one third of the heavenly beings were cast out of heaven with the dragon when they rebelled against God. That is Four beasts in heaven and two on earth.
The features or appearances of the beasts in heaven are completely opposite to the beasts on earth. As I study their characteristics I can sense a calmness, peace, joy, praise, worship, adoration, love, purity, beauty and order in the atmosphere of the heavenly realm.
First of all I detect a throne with one sat on with a rainbow around the the throne. The being that sat on the throne is like a jasper and sardine stone and the rainbow is like emerald. My imagination is beauty that is attached to the beautiful stones and rocks we have on earth with no dirt covering them. Then around the throne twenty four seats with twenty elders sitting on them dressed in white.
That represents to me a King and purity in the Kingdom. On their heads were Gold crowns, looks like princes to me. Out of the throne proceeded lightnings, thunders and voices. Sounds like power and control, the same as the power and control kings and authorities have on earth; except on earth it is under duress resulting in wars and chaos but out there it is under love resulting in worship. peace, joy and order.
The seven Lamps burning before the throne represents to me light and the servants of the King. The sea of glass looking like crystal before the throne, for me it is just an expression of the extravagant beauty and purity of the king’s residence, the same as the Kings palaces on earth.
And here comes the King’s workers those beasts: The first beast was like a lion, the same as on earth but peaceable, the second like a calf the same as on earth, the third like a man the same as on earth, and the fourth like an eagle the same as on earth. Therefore in my opinion earth is an offspring of Heaven created by the king that is on the throne in heaven.
Unlike the earthly beasts the heavenly beasts characteristics are peaceful, worship and obedience constantly.
The heavenly beasts have six wings each, flled with eyes in every crevice of their bodies and wings. This is saying to me that they have a job to cover the earth and keep an eye on everybody and everything that exist upon the earth and report to the king, exacty the same process that occurs on earth.
Obviously judgement is the same except man’s judgement is flawed and the creator’s is perfect. Judgement happens when laws are broken, therefore there are laws to keep both in heaven and earth. If this is the case where is the argument for evolution?
And dose’nt it make sense that only a creator could know man’s failings and could do something to rescue its creation?
Just to quote one verse in the Holy bible John 3 v 16 KJV: For God so loved the world that he gave His only begotten son that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting Life.
Our creator God has provided a way to escape perishing through Jesus Christ and only Him could save us from perishing in eternity. No other god or way could save man.
