Jesus said
Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat.
Matthew 7 v 13.
In my youth this verse puzzled me. I did not understand what Jesus meant when he said enter ye in at the strait gate , it has now clicked that he meant that we ought to live righteously for want of a better word.
Again Jesus was using a figure of speech or parable addressing our spiritual being.
Jesus is saying that our hearts are filled with all sorts of thinking. By our thoughts we have a right to determine our status in life. However, as we see various people dominate our lives in search of power and control. They weave their way into authorititive positions where they implement all sorts of rules, regulations, religions and so on, creating fear and oppression resulting in wars and total chaos worldwide.
As I see the current world’s climate, especially in the religious arena I am convinced that it could be nothing else but the spirit that is in charge of these poor souls. They are deprived from the freewill they are born with and taken over by Power freaks leading them to destruction both physically and eternally.
Hence Jesus’ statement enter ye in at the strait gate meaning our spirit or hearts must be free from evil thoughts, filled with Love coming direct from the creator God through His example.
I do not think I am different from any other human on earth and I know when I did not have the contentment I have in my heart today I was empty and missing something regardless of the pleasures and ambitions I had. This same emptiness is in all human hearts, hence the opportunist gets the chance to control and lead people to destruction all the various ways, the wide gate and broad way Jesus is talking about.
My appeal is for us as human to think of each other and think of the hurt and long term pain caused when children are suffering through wars, religious conflicts, and all the various forms of unrighteousness.
In so doing we will be able to focus on the real purpose of life, recognise who we are spiritually and then decide on whose side we will be on.
Either Jesus the strait way or the enemy’s broad way.
It is either one or the other, it cannot be a mixture because no sin or dirt will be able to survive where it is absolutely clean and pure.
I am happy to teach in any ministry especially youth internationally.

If only Israel would stand with the US instead of undermining US national security by continuing to defy inaetnariontl law, UN resolutions and continues to refuse to sign the Non Proliferation Treaty
Agree, however there is more than the eye could see. I think we ought to look at the real truth on all sides of the coin. Lots of lies and deception are controlling the politics in the world. Jesus said I am the way, the truth and life. We either live by Truth or lies. The two together spells confusion and that is what we are experiencing currently.
