King Solomon said;
For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, said he to thee; but his heart is not with thee.
Proverbs 23 v 27
Throughout the book of proverbs the phrases spoken by King Solomon are hints of wisdom whereby if men lived by them it is unlikely we would be living in such divisive communities worldwide.
This particular pharse for me, as he thinketh in his heart so is he, is in my opinion the real us. I am saying this because I realize that as human it is difficult to know what is in a person’s mind and even being educated and trained as Judges, Barristers and lawyers it is difficult to know the truth in an individual’s mind.
My own story a number of years ago. I had an accident at work and injured my back. In those days one’s employer had a duty of care for their employees so the employer was not keen to accept responsibility for the accident. It turned out that I had to contact my union representitive and eventually the case was taken to court.
I have no need to lie or do I believe in lying because I cannot see any man on earth that is that important that I have to lie to him/her for anything.
In my mind I am above that standard, that is for poor minded people. I spoke the truth to the Union representive but he was turning it the way he wanted or what was in his mind. When I got to the Barrister I told him the truth as it happened, again he turned it the way he wanted or what was in his mind. The only thing those people could have done was judged me according to their standards. They could not identify the truth in me because their minds were warped.
By right these were educated and especially the Barrister was also trained to judge others but his judgement only expressed his standard or person, he did not judge me correctly.
I learned from that case us human could only see each other as we think in our hearts and that is us for real, hence the cautious approach we have when we meet new people.
That is why Jesus said it is not what we eat that offends but what comes from our hearts.
I believe the time has come when we ought to realize the true characteristics of Jesus and that of satan. In so doing we can judge on whose side we want to be.
I am happy to help teach in any ministry especially youths worldwide.
