Jesus said : John 3 v 3 “Ye must be born again”
Verily Verily I say unto thee; Except a man be born again he cannot see the Kingdom of God.
There is great celebration in London this morning at the arrival of the new baby, born into the Kingdom of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth.
In the very same vein is celebration in Heaven of every new baby, born into the Kingdom of God.
The difference is being born in Spirit a New Birth in God’s Kingdom.
How can this be we asked, Jesus reply Verily ,Verily I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the Kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is Spirit.
Clearly Jesus is saying we are flesh (water) and Spirit. The spiritual part of us is Dead and has to be born into
God’s Kingdom.
No automatic right or good works could get us to God’s Kingdom.
How does a new Birth comes about? There has to be conception and growth in the womb. At the right time a healthy baby is born into the world.
In the same vein there has to be conception in the Spirit: Remember our spirit is dead in our human flesh; conception comes about when its impregnated by life.
That is recognising God through Jesus Christ and being repentant for ignoring him over the years. For want of a better word I say CONVICTION of our GUILT.
Eventually on giving yourself over to God and promise to follow Jesus: from then on you are a Free person from Guilt and your mind will be following Jesus’ way only.
God will celebrate with his angels in Heaven over you, for your were lost and is found, is Alive in Spirit to live with him eternally.
This is the desire of our creator God, He came down in flesh through the known person of Jesus Christ because of his love for us.
How shall we escape if we neglect so great a Salvation? we have no excuse. No one needs to go to Hell.
